Jude Law - Laws Mock Kidnap

British actor JUDE LAW had to practice getting kidnapped before he travelled to Afghanistan - in case he faced a real life hostage situation.

The Alfie star paid a secret visit to the Middle Eastern state last year (07), where he met officials and filmed discussions about the United Nations' (UN) annual Peace Day.

And Law was forced to undergo vigorous training to make sure he was prepared if he faced a hostile situation in the war-torn region.

He says, "I was made to do the United Nations' security test. That was quite an eye opener because we had to go through a mock kidnap and hostage profile including being broken down under interrogation.

"That really raised my eyebrows."

Combs Turns Screenwriter

Sean 'Diddy' Combs has been so inspired by this year's Cannes Film Festival, he is now writing his own big-screen project. The hip-hop star has previously expressed an interest in pursuing a career in Hollywood, and has even made acting appearances in films such as Monster's Ball and Made. But now the rap mogul, who made his first trip to the French event this month , is desperate to prove he also has what it takes to become a filmmaker. And he has already compiled his shortlist of leading stars. He says, "I'm writing a film, a comedy. For actresses (who could be cast), I'm thinking Angelina Jolie or Sienna Miller. For actors, Eddie Murphy."

Michael Jackson's family greeted with cider in Devon - Tabloid Hell

The first members of the Jackson kin ingest arrived in their freshly home of Devon - and receive been bizarrely welcomed by locals bearing cider.

Jackie Jackson and his nephew Siggy were later spotted strolling on the seafront in Appledore feeding water ice skim.

According to The Sun, Michael and Janet ar set to fall in them patch a nearby sign is being built.

The folk were welcomed by fans, wHO gave them topical anaesthetic gifts, including cider - 1 anonymous informant apparently warned them to "drink it in moderation".

The Jacksons are presently staying in a rented four-bedroom vacation plate.
